CFD-based high-power variable speed fluid coupling design

In this paper, the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) special issue "Large hydraulic pump and fan speed control key technology research" (2007AA05Z256), based on three-dimensional multiphase flow theory and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), high-power variable speed hydraulic coupling unsteady two-phase flow is simulated; examples for calculating the numerical results of its flow field velocity and pressure distributions are analyzed in detail reveal its flow field flow pattern and characteristics. Based on three-dimensional flow field numerical solutions of the fluid coupling characteristics predict the theoretical and experimental results were analyzed in order to verify the correctness of the theory and computational methods. In this study based on high-power variable speed  Hydraulic pipe fittings coupling modern design methods, and methods based on UG and CFD governor hydraulic coupling for parametric design and design optimization. The main content of this paper the following aspects: (1) investigate the characteristics of gas-liquid two-phase flow and gas-liquid two-phase flow is currently used in the study of numerical methods are given in several CFD multiphase flow model, and fluid coupling according to the actual situation analysis to determine the model used in this paper.
